The Martian by Andy Weir, is a book about Mark Watney, an astronaut who went to Mars as part of the Ares III mission. During a dust storm on Sol 6, the Ares III crew were forced to evacuate before the MAV (Mars Ascent Vehicle, which would take them back to orbit) tipped over. But during the evacuation, the communications dish broke off the Hab (the Mars base) and hit Mark Watney. The crew, who thought he was dead, left without him. It is very realistic and I would rate the book 5 stars. It is best for people aged 10+, but some stuff can be a bit complicated.

P.S. Ignore the first sentence.

The Martian was also made into a movie. It was still very good but left out some things from the book. You should definitely read the book before watching the movie. I would rate the movie 4 stars, and it is best for people aged 10+.
